On the evening of September 1st, the matches of the Dacha Belgrade tournament in Counter-Strike 2 concluded. Eternal Fire and Team Spirit advanced to the final.

The final match was played in a best-of-5 format and ended with a 3:0 victory for Team Spirit. The team won their pick on Nuke (13:7), then outperformed Eternal Fire on their pick (13:8 on Vertigo), and finally, Spirit secured the match point on Mirage (13:9). The final score was 3:0.

The MVP of the tournament was 17-year-old donk.

For winning the tournament, Team Spirit earned $250,000 from the total prize pool of $500,000. Eternal Fire received $125,000 for their second-place finish.

On August 31, the playoff matches for the Dacha Belgrade Counter-Strike 2 tournament will continue.

Dacha Belgrade Playoffs Schedule: Day 1

On the evening of August 27, the first winner of the European qualifier for Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024 was determined.

Eternal Fire and Team Falcons faced off in the upper bracket final for a spot in the tournament. The match ended with Eternal Fire emerging victorious with a 2-0 scoreline.

As a result, the Turkish team secured their place at Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024, while Team Falcons will have a second chance in the lower bracket final against HEROIC. The match is scheduled for today at 15:30 CEST.

Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2024 will take place in Brazil from October 7 to 13, where 16 teams will compete for a total prize pool of $250,000.

Eternal Fire Qualifies for IEM Rio 2024

Each tournament will feature 16 teams competing for a prize pool of $1.25 million. Invitations will be issued based on Valve’s ranking system, and there will be no open qualifiers for the tournaments.

PGL Announces CS 2 Tournaments for 2025 and 2026

On the evening of August 25, the matches of the BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024, where two spots for the final tournament of BLAST's fall series were at stake, concluded.

In the decisive matches for qualification, FaZe Clan defeated OG (2-0), while Team Falcons overcame Virtus.pro (2-0).

As a result, FaZe Clan and Team Falcons have completed the lineup of participants for BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024. Previously, Team Spirit, Team Vitality, G2 Esports, Team Liquid, Natus Vincere, and Astralis had already secured their spots in the tournament.

BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024 will take place in Copenhagen from September 25 to 29. Eight teams will compete not only for a total prize pool of $425,000 but also for a slot in the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024.

FaZe Clan and Team Falcons Advance to BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024

On August 23, the BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024 matches will continue. In this intermediate tournament, participants will compete for two spots in the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2024.

Sixteen teams are divided into two single-elimination brackets, with all matches being played in a best-of-three format. The games will be held online, and the winner of each bracket will advance to the final stage of BLAST's fall cycle.

BLAST Premier: Fall Showdown 2024 will run through August 25.
